Default Fallout 3 - glitches, locations and special weapons

Hey guys! Just share your glitches and what not here, if you'd be so kind

I have one: To get unlimited full condition hunting rifles, go to the Republic of Dave, ask for asylum, and give him a hunting rifle. Then say something to piss him off. Reapeat as many times as you have hunting rifles.

Then, either kill him, or rig the election so that someone else wins. If you rig the election, Rosie or Bob gives you the combination to Dave's safe, where you can get Ol' Painless, a named hunting rifle. Be careful, there's a second glitch. Rosie gave me the combination, and I took the named hunting rifle. If she gets too close to you, she'll take it back and say "Hey! That's not yours!"

Depending on if you want a fight, either kill dave there, or follow him away from the Republic (He leaves if he loses the election) and kill him. You could also sneak and pickpocket, but I like killing soo...

Every single hunting rifle you give him, will be on his body when you loot him, and will be in full condition. With a high repair skill, you can use these full hunting rifles to repair Ol' painless, to make it worth your while.

A lot of people have complained about it being super buggy... Why am I the only one who hasnb't had any major problems?

Only thing that got me was the crab things.. murelarks or something.. he half walked through a door and I could shoot him, happened once..otherwise is no worse than any other game :P

I don't like taking advantage of weak spots like the one you decribed, I know from experience testing is one of the hardest parts, exploiting those weak spots jsut ruins the point of the game :P

Aside from the occasional spastic body that ends up flying all over the place I haven't had any trouble.

I had one bug where the game would freeze solid at a certain location, I just had to miss it out.

Luckily it was just a random location, nothing integral to plot or side quests.

ADS, Accidental Death Syndrome is a pain, but I suppose it adds to the realism :P

Only thing that kills me is Deathclaws... I hate them. Also when I face multiple super mutants with rocket launchers. That's never a good day.

I like going deathclaw hunting - tool up a stealth boy, Victory Rifle as it puts them on their ass, and travel around Old Olney.

Still hate them though, but at least they go down when you shoot them.

The only bothersome problem I had was that the game would crash with some regularity, requiring frequent saves.

I had a couple of dead body glitches (bouncing or limbs stretching to infinity). I ran into a couple of radscorpions in the wastes that were stuck in the ground. I had one point in Old Olney where if I faced directly south, the horizon went all black.

I've only run into the game freezing a few times when I was playing through as an exclusively melee character, and it only happened when I was in combat and actively using the Shishkabob.

To be honest, I had more issues with Too Human than I've had with Fallout 3.

I found a mostly blown away head floating in the air when I returned to the scene of one of my past battles. I really wanted to get a picture of it... you could see the eyeballs, but there was no jaw, and most of the rest of the skull was missing. It was hilarious.

Only problems I've had were Radscorps walking around half buried into the ground. They would still die when you shot them though.

That and the residents of Anndale respawning... but that's no problem for me, I'm just as happy to kill them over and over and over....

(three hours later)

and over... then, for a small tea break... then back to killing them over, and over...
