Default L4D Demo.

This is the third time I write this, so I'm gonna keep it short.

http://www.left4dead411.com/left-4-dead-preview-pg1 <----- There's a rewiev. It sums it up perfectly.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8kVwkoO0BI <--- That's the Intro. Shows almost everyhitn you're gonna face in the Demo.

To get it, download steam, create an account, open up 'My Games' list and double click on Left 4 Dead Demo to install it.

The Director does a very good job. Not a single round is the same. It adapts to how you play that round, and your overall skill in the team( plus the difficulty). When the Director feels like you are going to slow, it releases 60-80 Zombies on you. So it's quite fast paced and hectic.

You really should try it out. Add me ( Account name: SkullzD) and I'm more then happy to show you around

Just finished downloading! Steam name is MonsieurMonkey.
On the downside, does the demo run out when the game releases?

Its fun, but the lack of strategical value bugs me. Yes, I'll be getting it, Co-Op is done very well, the Director is great, there are tons of "WTF??!" moments (in a good way - seeing 50 zombies charging at you in a huge mob is quite awesome).

But really... this game doesn't take much skill. No stealth, nothing like that - just point and shoot. Pretty much the only strategy that we've been using is "Person in front: Crouch!" but other than nothing else but point, shoot, run. Which is fine, don't get me wrong, but after Fallout 3 I was hoping for a little more

I am pleased, not thrilled. I'd give the demo an 8.5/10, which is actually quite generous. Hopefully the full game will bring a lot more stuff to the table, but right now pretty much it's all close-ranged point and shoot adventures. The sniper is almost useless and a waste of a slot compared to the Assault Rifle and Auto Shotgun.

I loved the demo - played on it for around 3 hours straight with a bunch of guys going through on the hardest setting. And let me tell you - it was an absolute blast!!

Yes theres very little strategy - you're relying on your wits alone. But the randomness of the encounters are just epic!! Numerous times we had to go through the two levels given (hard mode is hard :P) and not once was there a repetition of moments.

You got it, Silk? Sometime between my endless sessions of GoW2 we should play it together
