Fighters aren't that great. Dwarf Knights, however, are incredibly powerful, as by level 5, nobody can even touch you, unless you get a critical hit, and by then, you'll have enough HP to withstand 1... or 3.

First ed (I have no idea on how to make a character for it, to be honest...).

My friend and his family run a Greyhawk game every weekend and he's thinking on letting me join. The majority of em are Elves. We cannot let pointy ears dominate the party, eh?

I doubt it's First Ed mate... because as I recall "Dwarf" was itself a class in First Ed. :

Are you certain it is First Edition? Most likely it will be 3.0, 3.5 or 4.0.

Well if he says it's first, it's probably first. But he has no idea how to make a charrie so he doesnt know the whole class/race situation. I would definitely ask your friend for help if they play regularly.

It's not Fourth, because of the Alignment change.

I doubt it's 3.5, because of the horrible array of Ability Scores.

Yes, but now we're all curious which verison it is. I'd say 3 or 3.5 becuase 2nd edition didn't have "outfits" and definatly not first as pointed out dwarf was a class all on it's own.
