Default Mass Effect Discussion *spoilers*

Alright, so here's the thread for all the speculation, discussion, to go into. Lets stop cluttering up the spam board.

Alright, so I'll start off with a question. Just how exactly do you unlock Wrex's mission? Do you just have to talk to him, or is it unlockable, like Tali's? (still haven't done her mission yet. Bad Daienden, BAD!)

You just talk to him a few times, IIRC. As long as they are happy with you, they will bring it up. When he mentions something, press him on it.

I've been thinking about getting this game, but I don't know if my computer can run it. I could try, but it might just blow it up. :P

Hellgate: London would play alright, but it got really laggy at times. This looks to be even more graphically demanding.

Do you have an xbox 360? Because I highly reccomend it for the console. I've heard that the PC version's controls are, well, rather clunky. Besides, everything fits onto the 360 controller seamlessly, it's awesome.

Eventually, I WILL buy Mass Effect. I'm not sure if my parents can get past the Mature rating though.

Yeah, the rating's pretty tough, especially if they look on the back and see partial nudity. Try and argue that it's an alien tit, but I doubt it'll help :P

And Mass Effect is GREAT for the Xbox. I would definitely prefer it over PC.

I've been wondering - is there any big difference between a male shephard and a female one? I hear most people prefer the voice acting on the female, but that could just be because they're a bunch o' perverts and would rather watch a hot babe running around shooting bad guys in tights than a guy.

It'll be worth it when you do. As for the parents thing, well, if they'e OK with you watching James Bond movies, you'll be alright here.

I prefer the female one, the male one just annoys me. It grinds.

The way I told people about the "sex scene" was: Its just like a James Bond one, actually less erotic.

I've been told ME on PC is much better than console. There is more stuff in it, and a better HUD.

PCs have a lot of opportunity to be much better than the console version. I saw battlefront on PC, and was startled at the difference between it and the console version.
