Default Oblivion Manor Mod

I'm working on my first mod and this is what I've got on mind:
It will be one of those medevil manors with a small village sort of deal. There will be a quest to get it though. But it will probably just be fighting off bandits. There will be a main building (the manor itself) and some other small buildings such as guards barracks, smith's etc. I thought that I'd ask what people would like to see in the mod?

Something reletively new - not just another house in chorrol. And don't make it over the top either.

The amount of garish house mods out there is rediculous!

Could you make bandits shooting you from the walls? That'd be savage, though I'm not sure if it can be done(since Oblivion is organised in cells).

How about making you a part of a team that has to infiltrate the city to lower the gate, allowing an army to flood into the city? It could be done along the lines of sneaking past the guards(all thieves would love this) or by bashing their heads in (for warriors).

Of course, it may be easier to have an infiltrating single player, team based sneaking would be terribly difficult to program.

also - no super weapons.

I hate it when I get a new house and theres daedric and glass armour to fill the houses to bursting points.

Give it an Oblivion gate! Maybe there could be a way of saving the manor after the Lord has been killed, and as a reward you get the deed to all the land and the village? Then there could be some way to send soldiers from the village to help you at the great gate?

I like the idea of being locked inside it until the quest is complete. There is one mission like that in the unmodified game, and it added a lot to the character. It makes it more of a closed environment.

I'm thinking that you will get a letter from the owner. He says he needs your help with bandit problems. You have to fight them off than hire a construction crew to make a barracks. After the barracks is complete, you hire a few guards and the owner leaves the manor in your hands.
