Hey everybody. I've really been getting into battlefield 1942 but lately I've been looking for some change i.e mods. If anyone knows some decent mods or just wants to talk battlefield. Feel free.

Battle Field desert combat (set first gulf war) is an excellent mod available free off the net; arguably better then the original. Then there is also the various expansion packs, (which I haven't tried). If you a looking for something a bit different there is Battle Field Vietnam; also an excellent tittle. Finally there is the soon to be released Battle Field 2, which uses an entirely new engine.

If that dosn't satisfy you new found addiction, your a freek; get a life ;D

Well you see my prediciment is that the internet connections that I use to download mods are slow, and therefore we can only aquire mods that are around 30 mb MAX. Mainly because we can only do it at school during classes etc. If found a few small mods but none are terribly good. So do any of you know of any mods for new weapons, maps or vehicles?
