Red Ring o' Death!!!
We just got the red ring of death on our xbox 360, and i was wondering if anyone knows how to fix it, or heard rumors of how to fix it, it would be very very very much appreciated. I've heard one that if you wrap it with a towel, and leave it for 15mins, it should fix it. We're trying that now. But if anyone knows how to fix it then... :-\

Never heard the towel part, but when mine does it, I just let it sit. Sometimes, you'll have to unplug and replug everything before it'll work again.

For the most part its a general concencus that you cant fix it, and have to send it in to microsoft to let it get fixed, for free.

Nah, My brother got the RROD, and he sent it in, but they wouldnt fix it, because he didnt have a guarantee :shifty:

Well, that's not Microsoft being cheap. If your Box is modded in any way, you've broken the warranty. From a business standpoint, if you try to mod your Box and break it, why would they pay to send you a new one or repair yours when every Box that they sell is already at a loss to the company?
