Default Other types of wargames?

Just wondering if there are any other historical wargamers out there? I used to play Warhammer Ancients Battles but ended up writing my own rules. I also play Command Decision (WWII 15mm scale).

So I have 25mm Dark Age / Ancients (Irish, British, Vikings & Romans - around 700 figures total)
and 15mm WWII (French, early war - lots of infantry...working on the mechanized & artillary).

Anyone else?

Sounds like 15mm. My guess is they're running Flames of War (FoW). 5 infantry figures to a base?

I've played it and it is pretty fun. Personally, I like Command Decision's system better (right now we're running a blend of versions 3 & 4). It does tend to be a little bit more cumbersome, though.

Probably I'll have to look into it.

Besides 40k, the most popular wargame at my store is Warmachine. Flames used to be big, but a lot of players stopped coming.

so what your saying is that oven cleaner can remove paint from plastic models? and after that, you take a toothbrush to your plastic model, and the paint just comes off?

I have tried dabbling in Flames of War, but it just happens to cost too much money for me :P

I'll stick with 40k, it's the only one I know I can do well and no longer need a vast amount of funds for.

Yeah, Warmachine's the big mech game. I like the Khador faction, Big Mechs only.
