Default Deff Kopter problems

O.K. so I have had some problems with assembling a deffkopter (my first one >< it definitely looks it). For some reason, there are some odd gaps in it (maybe a bad cast or something warped or I screwed up with gluing) Anyways the areas where the the two shells meet (forming the cabin and torso of the pilot) has some major gaps in it. When I realized how huge they were I panicked and used a clamp and LOTS of glue to try to get the parts to fuse together and this improved it somewhat (the tail rotor managed to become sealed).

Anyways, I think I might want to seal it up with putty or maybe something else. Any suggestions, or am I over-reacting and will it just disappear when I start slopping some paint on to it?

Mine had the same problem. Best part is you are an ork so don't worry about it. I took a couple small pieces of plasticard and glued them across, and then added rivets. Makes it look like the kopta wasn't assembled right, but then later fixed by a mek.

Or just greenstuff the gaps. Mine weren't perfect either, not that bad though.

I bought mine from a train hobby store, but any type of plastic will do. You can use an old credit card or any kind of food containers. To make rivets use a 1/16" hole punch, or you can cut out small squares from the plastic you used earlier.

Medusa V, I had exactly the same problem with the first Kopta I put together.

The problem can be seen in your first Pic.

Where the blades from the rear rotor go into the round casing you still have a piece of sprue attached.
That straight piece isn't supposed to be in there.. get rid of it and the blades fit in nicely and the rest will come together.

Oh, I'm an idiot for not mentioning this too. I had the same problem.

He's right, you can see the straight piece running across the rear rotor.
