Default I'm probably being incredibly stupid here...

... but this has to be one of those things that will crop up with a rules lawyer at some point. And bear in mind that this thought is something that popped into my head when I am slightly on the drunk side (ie - now!).

Anyways - what am I raving about?? Well, it involves the bosspole rules and the wound it causes. Now, the thought came to me about the entire re-roll thing - what happens if the boy that take the wound dies and lowers the Ld test below the original value that was being rolled previously??

Basically: does the re-roll malarky re-roll the orginal value? Or does the re-roll the Ld test mean re-rolling the new value??

(I think ive read too deep into it...)

Re-roll means just that - a re-roll of the original roll, at least how I see it.

When I`m using Markerlights to increase my BS for a TL weapon, and I miss the first shot, the re-roll is also made with the same (improved) BS, and so on.

If the Ld would be lowered, the wording would be "may attempt a new Ld test", not a "re-roll" of the original roll.

This can easily be justified by the "great" effect the Nobs "call to orda!" has in his Mob...

Cheers,
-Bone

PS: You know what they say: To catch a Rules Lawyer... ^^

I agree with Bone. You're re-rolling the failed leadership test, so it's the same value it was previously, otherwise it would not be called a re-roll.

The term re-roll is an exact repeat of the previous roll.

Just to check, you can use an armour save or Feel No Pain on the wound as well, right?
