ORANGE!?? Whats ya thinkin'?

I suppose one could write some fluff to go with it. I'd say that Pumpkin Orange would look kinda organic and plant like.

Best stab at it,

There is no foundation or citadel paints called pumpkin orange. Is there a citadel or foundation that would look good?

I'm not too sure how this'll look, but I'd try a Vermin Brown basecoat and then go over that with Blazing Orange. The brown should give you a more gritty and organic orange. Paint up a test model first, though. That's an original sounding idea, Moomeyer.

Best of luck,

The foundation paint series has a more toned down orange I would go for called "Macharius Solar Orange". I would layer that over a brown like the guy above recomended (Vermin Brown). Maybe give the Orange a wattered down flesh wash to make it look more organic. 1 part ink 5-6 parts water. It will give the skin dimension, you are talking skin right?

I use Vermin Brown as a base for my autumn scheme Wood Elves. I highlight that with Fiery Orange, gives it a nice leafy organic look.
