[Warsmith Tyranus]

So basically, inspired by some of the threads over at The Bolter and Chainsword and, of course our own, Cadaver, I've decided to throw together a Community Project and with the new Ork 'dex coming out, why not Orks? And while were doing Orks, why not and Armored Krumpany? And thats when it hit me. How about a Stompa Krumpany? Big, shootie and stompy: Nothing spells ork more than that.

Best of all, there will be no new army list (e.g. House Rules), just a count as Ooman Armored Company. The best thing about this (and one of the main reason I chose Armored Krumpany) is that the list is free and its online. And for every lazy git who can't get up and get the list himself, here's the list to the Army List and here's the link to the Vehicle Inventory. This way, everyone can post up lists and suggestion without spending a penny!

The main unit of the army will be Ruzz Bots that will act as Leman Russes. In fact, every tank in the army will be a Ruzz Bot, just with a different weapon configuration. The main weapon will be the belly cannons adjusting the length and width to get the match.

This is my idea for the list that I'm thinking of using for what Ork vehicle corresponds with the Imperial counterpart. If you have any ideas for it, post them up and I'll change it.

Leman Russ = Ruzz Bot with Belly Cannon
Leman Russ Conqueror/ Demolisher = Ruzz Bot with cut down Belly Cannon
Leman Russ Vanquisher = Ruzz Bot with a large cannon in one hand
Leman Russ Exterminator = Ruzz Bot with Dakka Dakka guns in each of its hands
Basilisk = Ruzz Bot with a 'Uge Lobba mounted on his back
Hellhound = Ruzz Bot with 2 big Burnas
Destroyer Tank Hunter = Ruzz Bot with a even larger cannon on its arms
Chimera = Heavily armored Trukk
Griffon = Ruzz Bot with a large and blunt lobba on its back
Sentinels = Shootie Killer Kans
Salamander = Ruzz Bot with treads

As for the list, anyone could make one but I'm getting us started off with one of my own. It probably isn't that great since its been a long time since I've even looked at the AC list but I'm throwing it out there.

There are no point limits but I'd like this one to be some where around the 3000 or below mark.

Also, I'd like to have a name and a commander for every tank. I'm leaving this one up to you. After the final list is made, everyone can submit a name for a tank and a commander. Of course, this is first come first serve as once every tank name is gone, there can't be any more tanks to name.

Please also take note that this will be a very long and time consuming project. You can't really expect me to make all the tanks in one night. Please be patient as I have other things that I need to focus on that come before 40k.

It is a challenge as to what to do with all our Orky looted vehicles. Some of us only had a few. In my case all I had was a looted Hellhound. But some members of this board had up to 15 looted vehicles. That's a boatload of both money and time.

The list you made seems fairly good. I don't know if I'd use the Salamander as a Wartrak (I think that's what your getting at). But the other comparisons seem okay in line of the theme of your Army list.

Don't worry too much about having a load of looted vehicles from the old lisy. The new looted vehicle rules cater for a variety of human vehicles. We just assume the vehicles and weopons have been heavily modified and er...looted!

All I had was a looted Basilisk.

Don't worry too much about having a load of looted vehicles from the old lisy. The new looted vehicle rules cater for a variety of human vehicles. We just assume the vehicles and weopons have been heavily modified and er...looted!

I've also seen the new codex and can safely say that I would rather burn my Bassie in a fire than use it as a Looted Wagon. A Battlewagon is also out of the picture as the chassis of a Chimera is much to small.

Instead of using Ruzzbots, I'm going with my original plan which is to use the classic Ork vehicles.
