Default which ork army?

1) Da White Skarz - KOS warband using mostly bikes, wartracks done up as attack bikes, and deth koptas as land speeders. come from the White Scars fighting KOS warbands in the battle for Armageddon in the northern wastes. "dey'ze even fasta than we'ze are!" is the idea. white scars are also pretty good at fightin from a bike so ive been told. also chosen over Ravenwing cus theyz too dark, gloomy, and monk-y.

2) Da Blud Angelz - Blood Axe Warband themed after Blood angels. looted vehicles, symbols, power armor chestplates for 'ard boyz... they are RED (go fasta!) and love close combat! black "deth kumpany" armor for nobs and warboss, even!

3) Khorne Orkz - Blood axes? goffs? dunno, but theyre RED, are the close combat killiest of all, and USE AXES like 'da orks! heck a khornate chainaxe has the same armor modifier as a choppa! can orks be tainted by the warp?

4) Armored Krumpany! - lootas? blood axe? heck i think KOS can get 5 battlewagons in the list! (1 hq, 3 elite rides, 1 heavy support). and maybe even a looted russ! fun times! and then when yer close, unload 100 screamin orks into them! even more fun!

5) Wartrack WAUGGH! - all wartracks, all the time! lots of vehicles, heck the only non-veh would be the warboss! kinda similar to #4 but with much lighter armor. wartraks, warbuggies, gunntrucks, maybe a looted veh.

C&C plz! oh and which of the top 3 (maybe 4?) is da fluffiest? plz?

Got yourself some funny names there I like the idea of the White Scarz, using mostly bikes, am I right in thinking bike squadrons are cheap point wise?

No, you couldn't be further off. Ork bikes aren't even all that good for their points, either. To me, the "White Scarz" list is expensive and very unlikely to succeed.

Da Blud Angelz could work, but I think Stormboyz should be a focus rather than 'Ard Boyz - the Blood Angels are known for their profusion of jump pack troops.

Armoured Krumpany has a great name, and while Battle Wagons are expensive this list might be fun for the sheer number of big scratch-built vehicles.

Wartrakk Waaagh, with Trakks and Trukks, is probably the best way to play Kult of Speed - you get close combat, large numbers of accurate heavy weapons, and lots of models on the table.

Some Clever names, there. I like the 'Armoured Krumpany'. Nice touch.

What Dra'Tuisich-Novae mentions about Ork Warbikes is true in regards to expense. Paying 30 points for a one wound Ork model with a 6+/5+ armour/'Dust up' saving throw is very expensive by Ork standards.

I have seen some all Ork Warbike armies do well, however. Timing is a key point in using them. If you throw them around like Slugga Boyz, they'll vanish before your eyes.

Some all bike Ork Armies will take several Warbikes with no Twin Linked Big Shootas. They are 10 points cheaper and are often used as 'ablative wound' models for the rest of the Warbike Squad.

The Wartrak Rumble with Wartraks and Wartrukks is probably The most competitive list all around.

Best Regards,

hmm i think theres a limit on stormboyz with the clan list?
so wartracks the most competitive huh? yea i know warbikes are... not the best value from the orks. friend used to play em against my ig... then he switched to grot screen.
i think the white skarz and the wartrack waugh would be easiest to make with the battleforce.

ooh i got one more idea:

Da Roolz Lawyaz - goffs, orks in suits and ties with briefcases. cus lawyaz are da most vicious o' da humies!

Da Blud Angles sound like a ton of fun, but as it was mentioned above, you need a handful of Stormboyz, too.

The Armoured Kumpany is a cool idea and that thread that Munkey pointed out is awesome. If you breezed over it, I recommend you stop by and read over it all. Great stuff there.

I think orks of khorne seem pretty good. Their lust for blood and battle is on par with khorne berzerkerz so why not give it a shot.
