Default Is the Super Cyboar really that SUPER....I think not.

Looking at the Feral ork list I noticed that there is a useless rule under the supercyboar rules. * It states that:

"the Cyboar is fitted with what is commonly known as Da Big Red Knob. * This is essentially an injector system which pumps stimms into the Boar’s system causing it to hurtle forward at
an alarming rate. The Warboss will have the system linked up with all other Cyboars in his unit, so that when he presses the knob all the models in the unit advance with him. This allows the Cyboar riders to use the Fleet of Foot rules, advancing D6" instead of shooting during each Shooting phase."

Cyboars are classified as Cavalryry as stated here in the feral list:

"Cyboar: The rider counts as cavalry – see page 93 of the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook"

And cavalry units are already granted fleet of foot. * This means that a supercyboar only gives you the means of a better armour save over a normal cyboar. * Kinda feel cheated here since they seem to make you think that the super cyboar is all that and then some.

PS I was looking at trying, doing an exhange program, the snakebites and the warboss upgrade is kinda a rip since you are allowed to purchase a super cyboar. Wish I could purchase a normal cyboar instead for my warboss.

Uh... new rules. They're coming out with New orks one day. Give them time.

The feral ork rules were written in 3rd ed, back when calvary/beasts didn't automatically get a fleet move.

Personally, i think the way to solve this problem is to give the boar 2D6 fleet. yes, that give him a possibility to move 30" in one turn, but think about it. the logic makes sense, but maybe not the points cost. thats what im doing for my ferals.
