hey all, i'm unsure as to what to field the options are either this unit:

slugga boyz x 20
Nob w/ iron gob
big shootas x3
total 221 pts

or

Tank bustas x 10
Nob w/ iron gob, rokkit launcha, power klaw, ammo grots x3
rokkit launcha x3
tankbusta bombs x10
frag stikkbombz x10
total 193 pts

OK my list is 1505 pts with the slugga boyz and 1477 with tankbusta skwad. (if i use the tankbusta skwad i can easily find a spot to spend 23 pts.)

I'd take the slugga bys but swap out the big shootas for rokkits because

A) one of them will hit

and

B) you will have a legal army without being naughty and extending the pint limit.

Although if you want to I would drop the klaw in the tankbustas as well as a bit of other gear and then take another unit of grots. Hide the tankbustas behind the grots and march up to the enemy and unleash hell!

well for one thing, the slugga boyz unit is what extends the point limit. as for the grots, i'll consider that option. any other ideas?

Take some skarboyz to stick in that battle wagon - may have to deny that big mekk though. He doesn't seem to be doing anything useful: you already have grot riggers on your main tank. And speaking of the battle wagon: I would personaly drop a few Bolt on big shootas - if you need to scrape together points that is.

thats actually what the 10 grots are for, i'll put them in the battlewagon and use the bolt on big shootas!

I'm sorry munky but under RAW you cannot do that: it says "fired by orks" (or words to that effect.

Really? whats RAW? Grrr, i just checked the codex found out that it does indeed say ork mob!

well i guess i'll need to take something else to crew the wagon!

so if i take the tankbusta squad and remove the grots i have 70 pts left to play with, if i remove the big mek thats another 59 (i'll give his oilers to teh other mek), meening a total of 129 pts left to play with. I have now:

1 HQ slot left,
2 Elites slots left,
3 Troops slots left,
3 fast attack slots left, and
1 heavy support slot left.
