I was just wondering, do any of you use kroot in you army? Are they useful? I was thinking they would be better to use than the kommandos for infiltrating. i was thinking of useing them to lock up my enemies really shooty squads so my boyz could advance easier.

I love using dem bird 'umies as slaves and for the occassional meal. Me favorite squad are da kroot hound squads with fleet of foot evolution. These boyz can move and with the help of the hounds you can get a squad of 40 if you want and the hounds give you an attack for a sweeping advance. The shaper is concil with wing or with hounds is an Asassination squad whether its vehicles or troops this 5 man squad of birds take everything down. The sniper unit is deadly too some say they may be the best snipers for your points infact. Hide them in a forest 7" back and blast away at dem units...ohh ya they cause pinning. Overall I would assess that they are a cheap unit that can fill roles that orks cannot always do. The Kroot have a great BS and WS allowing them to shoot and punch it out with da best of da boyz. There only downside is that they have little to no armour but neither do we so MEH.
