[The Lost Waywatcher]

Skimmed through the 'dex' today and paid perticular attention to the looted vehiles entry. It started to get me thinking about two things.

1) Why should orks only be limited to Imperial Vehicles? Maybe a ork figures out how to work a edar grav tank by pressing a button or sumfink?

2) Where it says that you can include three vehicles 50 points or under, does that mean you take three vehicles that sum up to be under 51 or just does each have to be under 51 seperately

1) When the new dex arrives, the looting options will surely be better.

2) You can include three vehicles, which must be below 50 points each.
You could take three Rhinos. Or perhaps three sentinels.

1. well think about it. eldar tanks are most likely dependant mostly(or at least partly) phsycicly driven. the eldar are a hgihly refined race(unlike us propa boyz) so we can't figure out thier stuff. same goes for tau. orkz werent meant to skimm. to complex. (bezides da stufs da meks makes iz shottia an skull krakin. who needs silly elfy stuffs?)

Well I have seen grot piloted wraithlords ;D

Just imagine, a regular boy climbs in a Tau/Eldar machine, he starts pressing buttons randomly...then he spot a big red one and pushes it and, ZOOM!!! he's off to the races. Just an idea.

Can you loot sentinels? I didn't see it in the dex?

most opponents wouldnt ahev a problem wiht looting sentinels although it is not on the lsit of approved vehicles i dont think.
as far as teh skimmers go this isnt really te palce to discuss it but orks would die in droves tryign to figure them out adn sicne they cant manufacture skimmers they haev a very limited supply to experiment with.
although i ahev heard of players useing tau vehicles but slappin some proppa orky treads on da bottom.

You cant even loot vindicators....which is dissappointing, because i have a spare one lying around

See I really want to loot 3 rhinos as 1 heavy choice but I want to know if I can load 30 boyz (as 1 troop choice) into those 3 rhinos. When they disembark of course I will make sure they are in unit coehsion. Just wondering if this is allowed?

It would be interesting, but I'm pretty sure that it's not legal; however, you could always use minimized Boyz and mechanize 3 ten-man squads seperately.

which aint a bad idea cause ya get more power fists. But they aren't opened topped...

anyways:

1) orks are probably limited to human gear cause theres more of the imperium to loot than the rest. And most other races don't have ground running vehicles, yes people (myself included) think that orks could man a grav tank or a fish, but how would they go about repairing it or re-arming or re-fueling it without common access?

2) i think it's impossiblr to have three tanks under 50 points so it's 50 points each, and it is most probably (and mostly likely said in the FAQ) before upgrades.
