Had this idea a couple of days ago... it involves - of course - the new Nobs
![]() Here we go: 4 Nobs: all with 'Eavy armour, 2 Big Choppas, 2 Gitburna-Kombishootas 120 +Trukk: Armour Plates 45 9 Boys + Nob: Sluggas, Nob with Big Choppa, Bosspole 80 +Trukk: Armour Plates 45 10 Shootas: 1 Big Shoota 65 1 Deffkopta: TL Bazzukkas 45 Total: 400 For some reason, I'm insanely in love with this list - it features the new Nobs, it has two vehicles, some anti-tank, and horde-control - the two Gitburnas are a replacement for the Burnas I threw out to make room for the Nobs. A lot of people at the CP-event I'm going to are about to play Orks, and I expect to see a couple of big, foot-slogging Orks - that's the reason for the Gitburnas. If I meet Marines, the Gitburnas, the Bazzukka and the Big Choppas should provide enough high-powered hits to force enough armour saves for something to die... What do you think? Cheers, -Bone |

My only concern is the 10 Shootas. Not only are they low on numbers, they lack a Nob with a bosspole. You lose 3 models and you're testing morale with no re-rolls. I'd do one of two things, either replace them with Grots (still a scoring unit), or remove the Deffkopta and use those points to bulk out the Shootas. I think you'd be better served by the latter so you can maintain the anti-infantry shootiness. If you went that route then you'd want to drop a rokkit in the list somewhere.

My concern are the NOBz. With out a Warboss to keep them in line they are a ruley bunch of thugs. If one of them bits a bullets or takes a blunt blow to the head the rest of them have a good chance at high tailing it. Once again this is due to no bosspole being present in the unit and their extremely low mob count. Close Cbt is a scarey though for this squad when modifiers are being added in. I just don't see them doing anything except high tailing it, especially if they attack into cover or end up getting charge by an initiative 4 unit.

I think adding in a bosspole will cover them. They do have 'eavy armor, and though not invincible by any means, the 4+ combined with 2 wounds and then a bosspole should carry them well for such a small game.
