Haha! ONe thing I am looking at is the scheme I mentioned earlier and the shoulder pads bright red (slightly darker in the middle with the edges very bright) It would be really good on the destroyers and really wierd on a monolith.

1. Yellow is Lyaden Darksun, given a wash of Gryphon Sepia, then a layer of Golden Yellow and an edge highlight of sunburst yellow.

2. It's Nyarlathotep. Check the link in my sig (about Necrons), for pictures of the rest of the model. He has tentacles.

i'll upload my Necs as soon as i finish painting them.
ill let you decide if you like the colour scheme.

shoulders, body, knees and gun in boltgun/redgore mix.. making a metalic purple.
the rest sand face in boltgun/regal blue mix... making a light blue metalic look.
Face plate in a shining gold/botgun/snakebite leather mix.. making and dulled gold shine to it.. as if lain dormant underground forever.

ill post pics maybe monday

Clarkson thanks for posting. I've been trying to bring life back into this part of the forum

Mine seem standard for the most part on some I used flesh wash to give a more rusty look, but more physical additions are what give mine some uniqueness. My first lord has a crossfire marble as a res-orb and chains wrapped around him. I didn't have enough heads so I started using Scarabs as heads and now I decided to turn all 16 of my scarab heads into immortals so now I have lots of immortals.
I also painted my flayed ones like sheep haha: "BaBa Black Sheep have you any wool yes sir yes sir 3 claws full" haha

My destroyer lord also makes use of a scarab head and is made from spare bits lying around.
