Default 2000 point Nightbringer Horde

Hi there. This is a simple Warrior Phalanx list i made out of boredom and decided to put up for criticism. here you go.

nightbringer
20 immortals
60 warriors

dead even 2000 points. the warriors are in two units of 20 central and 2 units of ten on the outsides
here is the deployment idea:


I1..NB..I2
W1..W2..W3..W4

criticism welcome.

AFAIK Ctan's do not count as HQ.

This will die easily to a static shooty pie plate army, there's no way you can recover hits from a 2x Str Ap2/3 Ordnance.

Assault army will have a grand day in assault. Without any means to disengage in combat (VoD, Lith), you're stuck in an unwinnable HTH.multiple units attacking your multiple units spells doom.

Nightbringer was never a threat at 2K points.

The C'tan are never a great HQ choice because of their high points cost.

In higher point games I suggest that you bring two lords (one preferably with a Destroyer body) and VOD.

Also think about adding some different units to help tie up Assault units (like Scarabs).

Your Warriors will get into Close Combat if your opponent is smart. Just remember to Veil/Teleport them out of there in your next movement phase (if they survive).

Edit -- I forgot to mention the most important part of any Necron Army: Tomb Spyders. With all the troops that you bring your army will get spread out fast. Tomb Spyders are an insurance policy for standard "We'll Be Back" saves (not power weapon/double-toughness deaths). Plus they give you an impromptu anti-assault unit if you so choose (Scarabs).
