I want to buy the necron lord with reserrection orb and staff of light, but I can not find one anywhere
I have heard that the warsythe counts as staff of light unless you pay for the warsythe, is this true?

They are different weapons if i remember corectly so you would have to make the model with the weapon you want.

There're 2 lords for sale: A lord with only a Warscythe and a lord with Staff of Light and a Ressurection Orb (on the gw site referred to as Apocalypse necron lord if I remember it well). So, if you want a lord with SOL you should by the Apocalypse lord. And if you don't want a Res Orb on your lord...:P why wouldn't you :P

Well I did a round about way of getting a lord with a staff of light that turned out good for my growing army. I got a destroyer lord (which comes with both warscythe and staff of light + a arm with and without a rez orb) and an immortal. I put the staff and regular arm (in your case the orb arm) on the immortal and use green stuff to make a cape. Then just make a destroyer lord with the spare parts, or make a destroyer and an immortal (by putting the immortal gun on the destroyerlord body and some warrior legs, doesn't look too weird but hey you got a free lord out of it) :P

I don't think anyone will give you hassle about the SoL and WS, just buy whichever lord you like best, if I remember correctly officially the picture of the red destroyer lord has a staff of light and all other lords have warscythes.

I'm not sure what your saying. all Lords have the option to buy a warscythe from the wargear list, the apocalypse model has no tactical advantage over the normal lord, it's just so you can have a different pose. Just buy the lord you want and as long as you tell your opponent what weapon he has (either staff of light or warscythe) you won't have any trouble with it.

Doesn't the apocalypse lord have a double-edged warsythe and res orb, i'd swear that was the one i got, but i'd say, go with it, it is not your fualt there isnt a staff of light in there, would care the slightest.

Double edged warscythe on the model, it dosn't exist in the armoury so he has no advantage at all.
