It seems that they have departed from their traditional metalcore. I predict this song will give them mainstream success.

I would expect so, it seems generic enough for that. (I don't mean that in a bad way, it was an alrightish song but there really was nothing special or distinguishing about it at all)

And on another note, is it just me or is the singer really ugly?

I kinda like the song myself though, better than some of the stuff I've heard from them so far, but like it's been said it's nothing special...I think it sounds good though, I like the chorus. But when were they not mainstream? I bought their first album at Wal-Mart FFS.

When where they not mainstream? Since when is any metalcore mainstream? All the screaming and growling and thrashing scares "normal" people away.

And yes, so the singer is an ugly mo fo. In fact, they are all ugly mo fos, but thats not why I listen to them. If I want to listen to sexy singers I will listen to Withing Temptation or In This Moment.

Not heard of Killswitch, Trivium, or Bullet For My Valentine then ;D Metalcore was the mainstream of metal when those bands came out :P

It reminds me of Bullet kind of, which is weird cos I like Bullet but don't like this... The solo is pretty cool but it seems like it was put in for the sake of having a solo... and the singers clean voice doesn't sound as good as it did on This Calling. Thats a song I like :P

Sorry Vall but they are pretty mainstream, so mainstream in fact that people I know have heard of them, unlike most bands I listen to

When I say I like Breaking Benjamin everyone says either "I like them" or "I don't like them" When I say I like All That Remains, everyone just says "who?"

For me it's the other way round. I know very few people who have heard of Breaking Ben, but the people who do know them like em. But thats probably becuase it's the UK.

Breaking Benjamin doesn't travel outside of North America, so that could be the reason.
