I doubt it'll make much impact to be honest - Kill 'em all was really what metalica were all about and it's steadily gone down hill since.

Although Megadeth managed extraordinarily well.

I know most Metallica fans will say it was best at the beginning, but Load and Reload were my two favorite albums. I love Metallica enough to forgive them for St. Anger and hope for the best. This is certainly news to me, as last time I checked they were touring Europe all summer.

No i heard that they are making a better bigger album. A mix of the Black Album and Master of Puppets.

I had heard that it was to be released somwhere in september, but i can't remember when.

It's always funny when fans say that they know what a band is all about, when in reality only the band knows what they are all about. Hate to break this but bands are allowed to produce whatever kind of music they want, with whatever message they want.

It happens all the time when bands do something new. The old fans abandon them screaming accusations of selling out and such. This happened to Atreyu and A7X when they stopped screaming, Nightwish when the kicked out Tarja, Fuel when Toryn Green became the new singer...

It's kind of a good thing though, because then only the real music fans remain, while the people who only like screaming, or a bands hot singer move on to something else.

What im on about is that the early metalica was the one that came to the publics attention kicking and screaming and gave birth to a whole new outlook of metal.

It's called Death Magnetic and it's out on Wednesday 17th September.

The only forum I frequent other than TO is a guitar forum, so we get this kind of news all the time =P

Crikey! This crazy clown causes commotion like the coming of Christ. Certainly, still a curious and cordial cavalier in the countenance of crazed cads, curs and creeps who condemn courtesy as something corny. No cloud could collapse his crushing crescendo of comical crowing and crimson coiffure. This conjecture on culture comes circumlocutive, consequently...

You may call me Circus.

If your favourite band started playing a music genre that you consider extremely bad and ridiculous, would you still like their new albums? Would you buy their new stuff even if you don't like it, just because you're a real fan of that band?
