Default Bretonnian Music?

I've read some advice that listening to some music that reminds you of your army can get you enthused to paint. Since I just started Bretonnians and am going to try the impossible- get 2250 points by March- (1250 points of Tau took me a year), I'm going to need some motivation.

What would you suggest? It needs to be suitably regal or medival like.

I'd reccomend any "medieval" power metal, like some Blind Guardian, Grave Digger, or Battlelore.

If you look around, it isn't too hard to find traditional folk music from the "period". There are a lot of groups on the Renaissance Fair circuit. For more cinematic scores, you would probably be better off looking for soundtracks from Arthurian movies. First Knight, maybe. That sort of thing.

Pie Jesu Domine, dona eis requiem THUNK

On a serious note I would try Turisas for some epic folk music that might fit.

I hadn't thought of this by myself, but when I was playing Hammerfall, my friend who plays Brettonians thought it was perfect Breton music.

Check out Iced Earth "Night of the stormriders", especially "Angelīs Holocaust".

Grave Diggerīs albums "Knights of the Cross" and especially "Excalibur" are great stuff. I doubt you will find power metal that is more spot on to the topic.

While you are at it, check "Tunes of War", it is scottish themed, but great nonetheless^^

I would also agree to the old songs of Hammerfall, I am thinking about "Templars of Steel", "Steel meets Steel", "The Dragon Lies Bleeding", "Heeding the Call" and "Legacy of Kings" (I know I know, Hammerfallīs lyrics are 100% metal clichee ;D)

Blind Guardianīs arthur-themed songs form "Imaginations from the other Side"), like "Mordredīs Song", "A Past and Future Secret" are linked quite directly to the theme of the grail.

Perhaps some stuff from Rhapsody might do it for you?

If you want more "medival" styled music, check out "Rabenschrey", "In Extremo", "Schandmaul", "Subway to Sally", "Corvus Corax" and the likes.
