Just a thought, album are a totally different business to individual songs. Whilst a single song merely has to tickle your particular fancy for you to like it, a good album must do so much more. Not only must each and every song be a triumph but the albums arrangement and overall sound must be taken into account as well.

The same must be true of compilation albums. It isn't good enough that there are a lot of good or popular songs, they have to all fit together in just the right way.

Having said that, if you had absolute control of creating a compillation album for public use, what songs would you use, how would you arrange them and why would you do it like that? (please don't go overboard on songs, more than 15 is probably too much for this 'experiment&#39
