Default Operatic Metal

I have a few songs by Nightwish, but not much beyond that. So, any suggestions on what to listen to next?

Within Temptation, and some Lacuna Coil.

And a lot more Nightwish.

These are the more well known, but there are tonnes of bands who play this genre around. It happens to be one of my favourites.

Angtoria is also pretty sweet, along with Angra.

Within Temptations is one of my favs as well, and the new nightwish is more pleasing to the ears (but I will misss the intense soprano voice of the previous singer).

Give Kamelot a try. I beleive that their singer was clasically trained.

Apocalyptica. They're a metal band who uses only cellos.
