I just got my first cd by them, and I LOVE them! I got whatever people say I am, That's What I'm not. Just finished listening to it once through, and have got to say my favourite song is Bet you look good on the dance floor. Does anyone else listen to these guys?

'Bet you look good on the dance floor' is a great song, Arctic Monkeys are like one of my favourite bands ;D i love all there songs :P favourite would be 'Fluorescent Adolescent'

True, but I doubt there are any bands that dont have some 'pants' songs.

Come on, i bet somewhere out there, there is a band sent from the heavens without a single bad song.

It's really up to whoever's listening to the song. I for one don't really like Artic Monkeys but i dont not listen to their songs if there is one on.

man, i ****ing love their first album. so much goddam raw energy, and just the kinda thing i needed when it first rocked up. still haven't given their second albym a good listen tho (or their EP), but i have my hopes. i know they've gone in a different direction, but i have the utmost faith in 'em

The second album is much like the first one but the songs are a little less rough sounding. They're a really good band because their songs aren't all about big grand schemes where the lyrics are mazes you have to explore to understand, their much more simple, they even have a song about seeing some guy get thrown out of a nightclub or bar, I don't really remember which.
