Default British Power-Metal at it's finest...

...DRAGONFORCE!

I have not properly listened to Inhuman Rampage yet... I've heard the entire CD through twice, but that's just warming up... now I am embracing its majesty... and I love it!

DragonForce is a Metal band without equal. Listening to Dragonforce is like having your soul set on fire... but in a good way.

My favourite song on the new CD has got to be Revolution Deathsquad. It makes me want to climb to the top of a mountain, raise my sword into the air, and scream into the heavens. The flesh cannot express the brilliance of their music... it can't move fast enough. The fastest I've ever been moving whilst listening to Dragonforce is 100mph... it wasn't fast enough!

ManowaR fills my heart with pride... but Dragonforce is special. it runs around the edges of my mind, barely touching, until at last the opening forms, and I think to myself "I'm in the mood for Dragonforce"... then it comes. When that happens, it feels as if my soul is being torn from my flesh... and I love it.

Gods of Metal bless Dragonforce!

You have mountains in England? :P

Dragonforce sound pretty intense and awesome, I'll have to see if I can find any of their albums.

Then maybe I'll climb to the top of a real mountain and scream to the heavens.

My Spirit Will Go On from Sonic Firestorm. That is, I feel, their greatest ever song.

Pardon my saying, but just by the name of the band, the titles and lyrics of the songs, and the genere, the whole thing sounds like a rather cheesy Man-o-War copy...

Dragonforce sucks, one of the worst bands ever.

And that kids, is how you tell a lie, I shall be getting ahold of a copy soon. I'm looking forward to it.

They are similar, but different.

ManowaR is a True Metal band... indeed, they are the True Metal band, for they invented the Genre.

Whilst ManowaR is the loudest band in history, their songs rarely rely on volume or speed. Their songs are primarily about the glory of Metal, and they favour "fantasy" songs such as Dark Avenger, Defender, Bridge of Death and so forth. Their music is about battle and glory.

Dragonforce use many of the same concepts, but they are not as pronounced. Their music is about Power, and they play with speed. Indeed, their music is so fast that the first time you hear them, you probably won't understand the lyrics!
