Ok i may at somepoint make a foray into designing my own weapons but right now i am going to keep it simple. My intention is that as my faction is essentially ex-guard and pdf i will use imperial weaponary. However if they would allow it and since my background is about me occupying their lands. I may use some jets or ships or vehicles that Rav and DTN use as really want my background to fit with thiers and the easiest way to do that is to build my background around thiers.

Here's the thing; you can't occupy their lands because you haven't had an opportunity to yet. So if you're going to do that, it has to happen in the game thread and we have to resolve it with your existing military. You may succeed, or you may fail. That part's up to my spreadsheets. :P

Hey LGT,

I'm changing my Azrail Light Tank to a Main Battle Tank so I increase it's armor (from resistant to Heavy Bolters to resistant to Multi-Lasers) and it's armaments (added 2 Heavy Bolter sponsons). It's about 60 tons so it still can be deploy-able by air transports. My question is; would making it resistant to Autocannon be too much e.g. adding weight thus can't be air deploy-able?

A Leman Russ weighs 65 tonnes, apparently, and its resistant to most anything short of a battle cannon that isn't aimed at its top or rear armour.

So, I'm allowed a Leman Russ-equivalent that's deploy-able via air transports? Of course, the weapons are limited to Heavy Bolters, Autocannons, Lascannons and Plasma Cannons.

Please post new designs on the wiki, then post a link here.

Even better, keep a list of designs in one of your posts and just update it periodically.

Serves me right for not reading that post properly - I'm okay with Jonga having control of Jaeson hive and Asephor being largely isolated (link) at the outset, for the sake of an interesting startup. Gives me something to do >. Not so sure on captured assets forming the bulk of your forces, though.
