[[Note to self, Make notes in pipboy log.]]

Damien took note of the mans babling. Recording it to his pipboy.

"Cheers"
He said to the withered old man and he winked at the young lady.

He headed back up the broken stair and across to 'Freshen up'.

The uniform was actually quite well kept, well compared to other clothes he'd seen out here. The armor was rugged and brutal in apperance, He liked it.

"Now then"
He said to no one in particular.
"Where to first..."

Damien decided he'd take a random chance and left the compound heading east.

Winding his way out of the compound, Damien headed east. If anything, the land here was more desolate than the Vault 120 region. Aside from Camelot, which in itself was a strange military base, though why he couldn't quite say, there was little else there. Bleak desolation rolled away for miles in every direction. The only signs of life were those of the Army. Nevertheless, he soldiered on. The reports had mentioned "Tribals", so someone had to be living out here.

He walked briskly, hoping to spot signs of another human out in the wasteland. After some time, a bad feeling crept over him. Maybe there wasn't anyone here...

His PipBoy made a crackling sound. By the time he looked down it had stopped, but fiddling with the dials eventually found the source. For a brief moment, there'd been a Rad-source nearby. The wind must have blown it past; it was getting breezy out here.

Damien slowed a little and looked about him. Bugger all could be seen.

He decided to head south east now, No point in back tracking yet.

Lifting his pipboy to his mouth he turned on the radio.
"It's damien, any of you getting this?"
He was trying to pick up the group.

The PipBoy's radio seemed to struggle to find a signal. The Geiger counter chirruped on and off at random. There was something in the air here...

He almost missed the camp. An area of land had been stomped flat by feet, hooves and wheels. Campfires had been made here, but long since put out. He struggled to make out which way the people had come from, or headed to, but there was a dip in the land to the south. To the east were vague, distant ruins, and to the southeast a raised structure, unable to make out from his position.

Damien decided to head towars the raised structure that he couldnt quite make out.

He was getting bored of seeing nothing. He wanted streets and buildings to play in!

It took some time for Damien to catch the travellers. The creatures they led resembled the cows in the books he had read, save for the fact their flesh looked diseased. Oh, and there were two heads.

The men leading the beast seemed ragged, even by the standards of what he'd encountered so far. Most wore skins rather than clothes, and their weapons seemed mostly clubs or crude bow and arrow. He was down wind of them, and none had seen him yet.

Damien approached, using rocks for cover, ghost stepping so as to not make noise.

He needed to suss out these guys more. Were they traders, raiders or worse?

He drew his rifle and held it in what he felt was an apropriate ready position. He loaded the gun and drew closer still.

He noted these must the the 'Tribals' from before.

He looked at his notes:
>> Tribals reported in East / Southeast region behaving oddly [for Tribals]. Find out what they are doing.

He figured 2 guys and their cow wasn't much of a threat to the Army, so there must be more of them, may as well kill the first lot to find anything out.

He levelled his Rifle and aimed it at the closest mans chest.

[[1 Aimed shot, center of mass of the closest taget]]

<I've granted you a full-round aiming action since you have the drop.>

Hunting Rifles were meant for long-range shooting. Damien's target was 70m away, and he had a good aim. No contest. The rifle kicked hard, and Damien saw a burst of blood as the round tore through bone and organs. The Tribal went down hard. He wasn't getting up again. His companion readied a bow and gave a cry of alarm, but Damien had the advantage of already knowing where to aim...

<Sneak-attack instant killed the first Tribal. Second man's cry of alarm has alerted three others (visible at around 120m range).

You have the Initiative, so your second round goes before theirs does. You also have the advantage of the enemy not knowing your current position.>

The kick hurt Damiens shoulder, that was much more brutal than anything he'd shot in the vault.

He pulled the bolt action and aimed at the man who was screaming.

[[Aimed Shot, guy with bow, center of mass]]
