Default grot army list

there have been a few threads about a grot army list and thought i might try to make one. so here goes.

HQ

options- the chieftain has access to the armoury(?)

retinue- the chieftain may have a retinue of 0- 10 grot warriors

ELITES

FAST ATTACK

weps- each bike MUST have 1 of these weapons at the cost indicated:

options- 1 bike may take a burna at +8pts or a storm bolter at +10pts

grot chieftens should have the 4+ "lucky git" inv save and he's actually overpriced so with the Inv save he becomes worth it.

And grot tanks of all sorts nabbed mainly from the ork book BS 3 and the ability to repair EVERYTHING but more easy to actually damage in the 1st place

something like replace crew shaken with weapon destroyed and crew stunned with immobilised
BUT able to repair either on a 4+ Ala grot riggers

Oh and a bang pistol is S3, it's already a horrendously bad gun.
And sniper rifles have new rules.

I Think the looted blastas would be better as a more fixed weapon something very random though str d6, AP d6 rng 18 assault 1 maybe 2 but gets hot. They're 10 pts including the gun

grot sneakies is good idea for a unit
Infiltrate, move trough cover, Sniper rifles, Stealth.

Grot Finkerers (meks)

Killa Kanz

Grot Fighta-bombs
you know the things from forge world the small grot bombs these things but with small shootas attached count as jetbikes But with a suicide option

for the suicide attacks you 1st elect how many are going to do it with has a rng of 12" from the Fighta-Bombs unit for every shot remove a Model, str 6 Ap3 small blast (count the grots Bs as they pilot the things). 1 for every 5 in a unit can add extra explosives which makes it a str 8 Ap 2

Fighta-Bombs cost 30pts come in units of 5-20 & have the following profile

i think they would be a pretty expensive unit for commiting suicide with.ive thought of some stuff for the armoury.

big armour- 4+ save

kan armour- he has the following armour- f-11 s-11 r-10. he replaces his existing weps with a dreadnoght cc wep and a big looted gun (see killa kan entry for details)

weps- the finkerer is equiped with a custom blasta and wrench

custom blasta 24" 6 4 rapid fire, ap3 if within 6"

il make it better- the finkerer may attempt to "upgrade" 1 vehicle before the game and once per turn when he is within 2" of a vehicle. if so roll on the table below

1- boom!. something pops in the vehicle. the vehicle suffers -1 to the
front,side or rear armour.(owners choice)

2-nothing happens- the finkerer tinkers with it but fails to achieve anything

3-vroom. the vehicle roars into life. the vehicle can move 6" before the game. it also may move +d6" every turn.

4-dakka. the finkerer finds a gun in the vehicle that he didnt know was there.
the vehicle has a storm bolter on the front of the vehicle

5- theres more space in ere. the finkerer finds some extra space somewhere
in the vehicle. this upgrades the transport
capability of the vehicle by 5(non transport
vehicles may now transport 5 models)

6-there's armour lyin about ere, lets put it on. the finkerer finds armour on
the ground and nails it on the vehicle. the
vehicle gains +1 front, side and rear armour.

oiler grot- for each oiler grot accompanying the finkerer he may modify the upgrade roll by 1.

I have fielded the Imperial Grots - a few cannier/bigger Grots as commanders and better units, rest are conscripts. Lots of Guns n Gear. Trakks as Sentinels (I don't have Kans), Boom Waggons as Tanks / Basilisk (one Boom Waggon is a Basilisk). Those old Grots you can get off eBay are perfect with their little pickelhaube. They are also my Ork Grots and my LATD Trators

ive got about 20 or 30 of the old , 1 part grots and about 30 of the 2 part orks. im also using gorkamorka boyz for runtherds. anyway here is some more choices for the list.
