Hey guys

I am doing an exodite-ish army (background to follow), and I am using the new codex. All of my guys are mounted on cold ones so I am just using the rules for jetbikes and shining spears. I chose to use the codex only, instead of making my own, for ease of gaming in different venues. Hope this helps

Using Codex forces to represent other forces has the advantage of being game legal, but I've found from experience that it can be a bit awkward to play with and most players will consent to their opponent using a home-made or forum-made rule set.

On a more general note, would Recursivecoin consider making this into a project that the rest of the forum can chip in on.

Yeah, I would be up for working together on a new codex.

It-could-be-fun!

There was a very good Exodite Codex over at EldarOnline. I was tempted, but... I don't like using unofficial codexes. I'd rather proxy using an existing one.

And for the Exodites, I would use the Ork Codex.

It depends on the kind of Exodites you're referring to. They *are* tougher and slower than other Eldar. They're not necessarily particularly good shots. They also field exo-suits, for some reason, so... Deff Dreads and Killa Kans =)

To be honest they can be represented fairly well with the Eldar 'dex but it was just something to mix it up.
