Default Is this a loophole, but...

It says that the following armies can't use kroot, sisters of battle, space marines, tyranids and necrons. How come daemon hunters are allowed to use kroot? They are more fanatical and loyalist than marines, an army of grey knights can use. Is there a reason for this, or is it just a loophole

Timjim's right. And that was also when the Sisters were an Approved article army and not the Witchhunters.

I do not think that there is anything stopping a radical inquisitor from allying with kroot fluff wise, but I would not feel right letting grey knights or puritan inquisitors ally with them.

Well actually the Kroot mercenaries aren't a legal list anymore, same as LatD and feral orks :P

well, if your going to play them in house rules scenarios, it wouldnt hurt to bring this up.

SInce no faq was geared to this, play it with the "no grey knights rules"

meaning no landraiders, no dreads, no greyknights, grand masters, brother captains etc...as long as you only include the inducted guard, representing a mercenary band.

As a rule GKs on march with Imperial Forces (I think it was Black templars being the only SM army that GKs will March with without it being state of emergency)

Its a bit wierd you cant use Kroot Mercs with Tau also (unless they updated that since I last checked)

No Tau makes perfect sense. The Tau will stop the mercenaries if they found out they existed.

I do agree with only inquisition forces, no Ordo Millitants.
