The Old ones arent Lizardmen,
and an army of Old Ones would be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to powerfull!

I would suggest a Slann army instead,

check out my Slann for inspiration

No more powerful than c'tan, necessarily. It could be a slann-army with old ones, in the same opposing concept of necron armies with c'tan - which are star gods, and still possibly bought for less than 2500 points pr model. And not over powered, just highly powered.

You have misunderstood,

I meant that an army of only Old Ones, would be waaay to powerfull.

Just imagine an army of only C'Tans....

They'd all just eat each other.

It is on topic, there are only 4 C'tan left, you would struggle to make an army of them, and they are the only army who could possibly face up to the Old ones.

Technically, the Old ones were only beating the Necrontyr, not the C'tan. As soon as the C'tan came into the picture and turned the Necrontyr into the robotic Necrons, the Old ones were on the run. Alot of them died, yada-yada-yada.

But I'm not really sure using Lizardmen models would really make sense for representing the old ones. Lizardmen just worship them.
