They're supposed to be, I haven't heard otherwise.

Well I've just heard that for 2008 they will not be legal at GTs. In 2007 they were fine (and interestingly enough so where LatD), but it looks like that's all over with...

Oh well, that won't and can't stop me. If tournaments don't support them, then I don't support tournaments!

Whilst they're not legal at GTs, other tourneys might not be so strict. I advise you to ask the organisers beforehand.

I don't see why they shouldn't be legal. It's not like there are any unfair advantages you might be able to gain from using them.

Of course it gives you an unfair advantage. They're too much fun for their own good! ;D :P

I was looking into Kroot but there's just too many models. They have more models than Imperial Guard! I made a Nid army but Tyranids were different for me. I had fun painting the dog like Hormagaunts and Gaunts. They ended up black and orange, kinda like Halloween nids.

Which country is this in? Cause some (ie. UK) tend to be a LOT more strict than others.

Hey
Here Down Under they are legal at most of the tournaments at my local GW, but they are banned from GTs. I play my Kroot in lots of tournaments and have never been told not to use them.

What's your source for this? The circuit venues have recently been posted but no specifics on what or what's not allowed. Thanks...

Hi Jeramakus ,

If you check the link below, under Permitted Army Lists it states that only army lists 'in print' ie currently being produced and sold in the shops can be used in GT's

So no Blood Angles or Kroot :-(
