Default Kroot Mercenary List

I'm not so keen on the idea of collecting a Tau army now, I just don't like the look of a lot of their models. Kroot are very tempting at the moment, so I've drawn up a potential list. It's unlikely I'll get to play woth it often (if ever) but I may take it into GW some time in the future. It's more for the sake of building an army just for the fun of it!
I haven't come up with much fluff yet, I will have to give it some thought...I'm thinking maybe a tribe of Kroot that have allied themselves with Exodite Eldar far out on the Eastern Fringe. Perhaps at a later date I'll stick an Autarch and some Rangers in here and use them as allies (as if I use the Kroot as allies they'll loose their bonuses). 8)
I like the idea of hunters, and so I'm going to align these Kroot quite closely with the Rangers role on the battlefield - I.e. lots of snipers and infiltrators!

There are a few points I'm not sure on, help would be appreciated.

Well this list is pretty unique... but there are a few (major) issues with it.

First Your Master Shaper and Council can not have Hunting Rifles. Furthermore even if they could, you'd be giving the guys one two handed weapon, and two one handed weapons... which you can't. You have to ask yourself what sort of role you want your HQs to play.

Also you don't have a single bit of anti-armor in the list. At least give some of the Shapers melta bombs, if you're against Eviscerators! Right now, a single Rhino can ruin your day!

None of your Troops can have HNO! That means your surefoot charms are useless as well. Only Headhunters, Hounds, and HQ can have HNO. Also you'll find assaults a bit depressing without Power Weapons on your Carnivores. Using them naked is fine, but Power Weapons are always nice...

I would not recommend Stalkers. There rules are stuck in 3rd Edition and based off of an out of date and print Codex. Even given that, they cannot have six Hounds (only 1-5).

Now I'm all for interesting a fun Kroot lists. I think that they can be one of the most individualized lists out there. But really give the Army List a good look through. You seemed to have a missed a bunch of rules!

Thanks for the advice Exokan - yeah it does look liked I missed/misread quite a bit. I've edited my list now, what do you think?

Hey looks much better!

Take a Krootox squad is a gamble, but I've been meaning to give the old guys a try. They're so mediocre. I figure the best way to use them, is minimum Kroot and maxed Ox...

You still have very little Anti-Armor. The Ox will help, but I suggest giving Council and the Master Shaper meltabombs. Use them as tank hunters!

Also I dunno how good Chameleon really is. It's best to just use cover well IMO. With all those Power Weapons +1 Initiative would probably be much more beneficial.
