Default Which Kroot Mercenary Signature Evolutionary Adaptation is best?

I was just wondering what you guys consider the best of these adaptations for use in game. My personal favourite is Fast Reflexes, it means all of your many many many cc attacks have a chance of hitting quicker (its not much fun having that many attacks then have to wait for most other models to strike first and potentially drastically reduce your precious attacks or even wipe out the unit). If you vote please tell me why, and how you use said adaptation to great effect in game.

I like the Orkoid, being as hard to kill as a marine in leather with a rubish gun is pretty good.

I like the fast reflexes better. They get more of a chance to kill.
The others just try to protect kroot but don&#39;t give a decent armor save.

I think the worst one is bold. But then I am always very lucky with my leadership checks. I&#39;ve never had a man fall back/be pinned (excluding entanglement).

Orkoids.

The Kroots original T3 is bad. You always wound and you instant kill with most blast weapons. So they die in hundreds.

But with Orkoids they stand a chance! Bolters only wound half of their hits... Few instant-kill-big-blast-massive-casualties deaths. And they become mean and hard to take out in CC.

Worst is Bold. As Omeganus said.

I would have to say that my preferred choice for my kroots is the fast reflexes one. I love still being able to get my attacks in, and it generally lets you have more attacks, as some would have died by the time I3 comes against most enemy&#39;s.

Though, I would much rather not take any of them, and get more bodies in a list. Because of the sheer number of kroot in a list, the evolution costs enough to usually buy another carnivore squad.

I think you may be confused about the "Instant Death" rule. You state that at T3 Kroot die in hundreds because "You always wound and you instant kill with most blast weapons." Instant Death has no bearing on the To Wound roll, nor does it have any effect at all on models with a single wound. Instant Death merely states that if a model is wounded (i.e. the To Wound roll is successful) by a weapon whose Strength is double the model&#39;s Toughness value, then that model will be killed outright (rather than taking a single wound) if, and only if, they fail their save (or are otherwise incapable of preventing the wound, i.e. their save was negated).

So the T4 from the Orkoid trait will only help them against weapons which are S5 or less. Because S5 wounds T3 on a 2+, but T4 on a 3+. Anything stronger does the exact same thing to a Kroot w/ T3 and a Kroot w/ T4. (This is not true for characters of course, or anything else with multiple wounds - where T4 would protect them from Instant Death by S6 or S7 weapons.)
