Ok, I duble post, but this might help to get a bit attention on this thread. I also have something to say.
I have updated the Codex!
Changed the name of Lascarbine v.31 to Lasrifle Urban v.31 as it wasn't realy a carbine. More fluffy name now.
Changed the "As Situation Demands" special rule a bit. Now it has also a maximum distance from Ehrnrooth 24". So it is LOS reguired and must be with in 24".

Okay sorry for the late reply I've been wanting to check this out be never got around to it, sorry.

First all humans have I 3. Humans are not like Tau in that they can't see very well close up. Also their reaction time is the same as yours so their I should be 3. The weapon skill of the humans should be 3 also but I see your reasoning that it should be 2 as Tau don't like close combat. The AAT-PC MKI should have a rear armour value of 10. Chimeras have ti 12, 10, 10 so fir the same amount of points it should be 11, 11, 10. The Drop Troops should have the option of taking the Urban Lasrifle. If your dropping into the heart of the enemy you want a gun that can do some serious hurt. Also give all units the option of taking photon grenades and EMP grenades. This would give all units more versitlity. Nice job on it by the way.

This is great, I am a big fan of the Gue'vesa as part of the Tau army. Now hopefully something like this comes out for 5th ed Tau after their main codex.
