I have no experience with them but I think that they are like Imperial Guard but with demons. So IG on crack.

No man! They're the coolest Space Marine chapter around! They're the guys all dressed up in power armor and bones right?

They function a lot like normal marines except have a few special units. Their rules are in White Dwarf 278. Basically everything in a Legion of the Damned army gets a 6+ invulnerable save. The two units are Cursed Knights and Abominations. Cursed Knights get the whole They Shall Know No Fear business but also have a Fabious Bile hook up too. Abominations are literally crazy marines, best suited for CC where (if wicked lucky) one could get an ridiculous number of attacks. They also have a very limiting force organization chart.

Besides that think MEQ. Hope this helps!

(P.S. - Even before the new rules for them came out I've always wanted to play them. One of the coolest armies around.)

Oh you are right. They are a SM chapter. I think that they are like normal SM's.

Actually they might function like normal marines now. I don't know if the WD rules still work in 4th edition (IMO they do, I didn't notice any big problems). They pay a few points for 6+ inv. saves and the entire army always deep strikes...there's nothing complicated about that.

If they can't get the cool bonuses than it'd just be lame...and expensive, all the units are archived and cost a mint.

Rules for the Legion of the Damned and other Cursed Founding chapters can be found in chapter approved 2004, a book I actually own.

Legion of the Damned aren't in there...its just 'Lost' Wolves, Cadian Defense, Lost and Damned (everyones mixing them up), and Eldar Strike Force.

Hey
I read in some fluff that every other LOTD unit may Deep Strike if the scenario allows it. I could try writing an unofficial Codex if you want.
