heya guys im brand new to this website and really new to the tau army hobby
i've got a decent army together and looking to do some serious damage soon if you have any hints or tips for a new starter that would be much appreciated now excuse me while i go and make some tau |

i collect tau and have a small army of space marines (probably not going to continue them on to be fair)
i am also toying with the idea of starting a necron army but i may wait a while before that |

good choice, tau and marines, very different styles, but you can learn a lot about beating one from playing it
![]() Armies don't have to get big, even a 500pt marine army is worth having just for small friendly games. I wouldn't advise starting another army properly until you've finished the Tau, but you could get some models to paint as a break from the Tau. If you browse through the Tau and Marine forums, you'll fine a lot about both armies. If you have any questions left after that, feel free to start a new topic or PM me
