I've read threads here a few times before and found some useful stuff but I thought it was about time to drop in and say hi. I was also wondering about who to talk to about organising an affiliation between this site and my own, if the admins here would be interested in affiliation with a lowly hundred member site such as mine that is.

Dont' do it Hellbrass - the last guy we had in here trying to promote his own sie got forcibly ejected, a mailbomb, and was then ritually sacrificed nder a full moon on our sacred altar. Perfectly happy to have you as a member, but this is OUR site, thank you.
;D
Well...
Welcome to TO and happy posting!

First off welcome Hellbrass Odesseron. Be sure to read the forum rules (can be seen in the Announcements Board), Look at the Stickied Topics, use the Search Function, use good spelling and grammar, post and finally enjoy yourself (that list gets longer every week).

Well other than the menial stuff which you obviously already new to do you may also want to look at this page:

http://www.tauonline.org/links.php

That link shows all affiliates with Tau Online as well as a form for becoming a link in the links page, though i expect TO will see this topic sometime today. It's also good to have a Dark Eldar player join up as there are only a few here. Next:

I kind of don't think he joined just to promote his site otherwise he wouldnt of said the part at the beginning, plus having the site linked to on TO is hardly going to do any harm is it? By all means if any members on his site see the link to TO on his then we may get more Dark Eldar members so the board won't be so dead. Promotion is beneficial to both parties so is well worth doing, excessive promotion is another matter...

In that case, so is sex. Therefore, pornstars and prostitutes are professional athletes.

What a warm welcome we're giving this fellow! :

Nice to have you on board. I actually find myself dangerously intrigued by Dark Eldar, and I'll give your site a looksie. TO is a pretty sweet place. ^^

Yes well, you can always trust RJay to write a book. Not to mention MalVeuX, man he writes whole encyclopedia's when he posts...
