Well where do I start?

My first intro to hobby gaming would be I guess buying battletech tros and sourcebooks. Then came mechwarrior dark age miniatures then battletech minis. I still love my cbt and still play it regularly I decided to dabble my hand in some warhammer 40k after playing dawn of war.

I like the ranges of the Tau along with their unit design

The space marines never appealed to me hey? Pnly with the relatively recent additions of the Tau and Necrons have I been remotely interested ion Warhammer 40K..

i was only kidding dude.
Seriously though go tau, they are much more interesting than necrons.
Necrons are a killer team to play with, but it doesnt take much skill to win with them.
as they dont die.

Besides, my local gaming group has heaps of tau players lol so its definitely going to be interesting lol
