Default Guess, i should say hello.

After a long term absence from 40k, decided to drag the old army out of the box. So after sorting through it, re-gluing all the broken bits. I found and old list which was handy as it helped identify weapons, upgrades etc.

I have to admit it is a min max type, based in fairness on a enclave army.

So my concern is that despite recalculating it with the new codex, the rumours have me wondering what to do next. I obviously want to start playing again, but don't see the point of buy what would be version 4, when version 5 is just around the corner.

Anyway that's where I am at, I have resprayed the army and started repainting it, after the years away in historical (don't shun me, i came back), I have a nice three tone mottle for an arid table. (gives my adobe buildings another outing).

well thanks for reading

Jon

Welcome to Tau Online but more importantly, welcome back to Warhammer 40000. And you're just in time to see the mayhem that see the 5th Edition :P so ya, wait until the 5th edition comes out, so by then you know what to buy etc.
Just to get you started:
10 9 Commandments of God What a newbie should do:
1. Thou must read the rules
2. Thou must use of proper grammar and spelling; use the spell checker
3. Thou shall not spamming unless it's here ;D
4. Thou shall be polite; don't flame people 8)
5. Thou shall not resurrect old topics; necromancy is heresy of the highest level here in TO :-\
6. Thou shall not double post; use the 'Modify Message' button to edit your post ^-^
7. Thou shall use the Search function to find a topic first before putting up a new one :P
8. Thou must read the stickies of the various Boards first
9. Thou shall not create 'X vs Y' thread or anything of that sort; it's a spawn pool for flames

Hope to see around some more ^^

Thanks, for the warm welcome, the name is a name that I use on other forums so seemed logical to keep using it. (easier on my small mind, less things to forget, sort of thing).

Couldn't help myself bought a piranha, was thinking of using it to support the devilfish with my pathfinders, as the devilfish can now only have to missiles. I then stupidly went to the forgeworld site, now there are some pretty toys. So despite telling myself no, I bought some broadside's, they look so much more dynamic than the GW ones I have plus they are not busted at the ankle.

cheers
Jon

I got some too, for the same reason. They are pretty sweet. 8)
