Default 'Ello!

Hi there, stumbled upon this site while researching a new army choice, thought I should throw my hello out.

I started 40k in 2nd edition and played Tyranids up through 3rd. I dabbled in the Witchhunters a bit, then from a lack of playing the game sold my armies. I have returned to the game with a Tau codex and Battleforce box to get me started again!

I assume you are British?

And welcome! Its great to know you have returned. And it seems you wont be playing 4th edition for long, as 5th is coming in a few months (I hope you didn't spend too much money on a rulebook).

If they did sell him a rulebook, the staff member should be shot really, given that the staff down at my local would advice against getting it just yet (he said wait a few months, and they may get a deal on like they did with Fantasy, buy a rulebook then, learn the rules, and keep your receipt. Take the receipt back when the new book comes out and you get the new one for free)

Anyway, welcome to the forums.

I have heard nothing of that. The people at my store have not mentioned 5th edition at all and are still trying to get people to buy Mccragge.

The only gaming store near me makes no mention of 5th edition. I think they up the prices from normal retail, or just overall prices have gone up crazy. $20 for regular blister packs seem crazy to me.
