Questions Questions, all welcome

I started with Lotr mainly for painting then took a look through the 40k section of gw's website and realised it was much more to my liking, I was going to start with the Tau but had a change of heart and started on Space Wolves I've collected around 1500-2000 pts of Wolves in the last year and bit.

I still mainly paint, most of my wolves have conversions and some GS so completing the Army is still ongoing. On the playing side I've been limited to around five 500-750 pt games all good fun with mixed results, my aim is to play more this year and also start a fledgling Tau force.

I've treated myself to a devilfish and fire warrior combined box, an XV8 suit and a plain box of fire warriors to start with.
Once they arrive I'll do some test schemes and post them up for comments and idea's and start to pad them out with some new additions to get a basic list going.

cheers

Welcome Aboard![sup]tm.[/sup HHRG. Be sure to read the Forum Rules and enjoy your stay!

Good to hear you've taken up the fight for the Greater Good. Also, good job on your first minis! Most people grab a lot of things that are good choices, but not great starter choices, and what you pickedup (Firewarrior/Devilfish box, Firewarriors, XV8) is a great starter option (it's 400 points if you'd like). It's perfect for Combat Patrol already out of the box so you can play many many games and get used to your Tau in blocks of 30 to 40 minutes instead of hours I'd suggest you play quite a few Combat Patrols and make nice little Battle Reports and all that. Would be fun!

Anyhow, happy posting, ask your questions away, and if the Tau don't suite your fancy, the Inquisition is taking recruits currently, though you have to be tortured during the screening process to ensure you really want to sign up

Oh yea, where do you live? There may be some T.O. members near by
