Warhammer 40k Forum Tau Online

Hi Everybody,

I only started visitng Tau Online a couple of weeks ago and thought it was about time to get involved in the forums. I've never actually played any Warhammer games, though back when I was about 14 I did spent copious amounts of money on buying miniatures because I enjoyed the background/historical fiction and fancied myself as a bit of a painter (as it turned out, a bit of a crap painter).

More recently, I've gotten back into the hobby a bit and for no reason that I can recall decided that I would buy a few models to paint to fill up my Saturday's while the other half is working and the little one is at play group. Unforunately I got horrifically carried away and a Tau Codex, complete set of modelling and painting tools and a box of Fire Warriors later I seem to have spent about £80. Oops.

In any case, be prepared for a whole variety of questions about the Tau and the game itself that are probably going to be pretty elementary.

I'm not sure where I took the image from to make the avatar, but the character is from Interstella 5555. It's a kind of musical anime created by Daft Punk.
