Hey look, yet another newbie joining the ranks of the Tau Online forums.
In my defence, I am In good standing on the Falling sand game forums, and a verifiable non-spammer on various other boards (under the names LE4dGOLEM and Tartarus).

I chose my TOF name based on my knowledge of Tau Caste rankings and my limited Tau vocabulary:

Por'el (water caste initiate IE newbie to a forum)
Vior'la (from Vior'la, O'Shovah For the Win!)
Kais (meaning skilled, as I'm not new to this here series of tubes - admittedly an 'el wouldn't have names but I'm working on the fluff)
Ukos (meaning spoon because frankly, why not?)
