Hi, my name is Lovefist and I don't play warhammer 40k. But i want to. me and my friends just recently bought just about all the codexes and i purchased, after much reading, the tau starting army thing for 80 bucks. tau seem very incredably cool and i actually looked at this site while choosing what army to pick/build. you guys seem like a great "community" and i really cant wait to dive in and shoot some heads on the 40k table.

Welcome

The Tau starting army (I take you mean the Battleforce package) is great to base your army upon. I did that myself. I basically has all the unit types needed to build the army AND needed to learn the rules. So once again welcome and good luck building that army of yours
