Default Hi im Neowolf

Neowolf3 here.
Im new to this website and sumwhat new to the hobby but I know alot about it.
anyways my friends and i love Warhammer 40K and i figured Tau online (being my race & all) could help me and point a few things out .
I still have a bit of trouble playing games,using Tau accessories,etc. ???
I have a picture of my army in the gallery now ([glow=green,3,700]My Glowing Soldiers[/glow]).
My race already has their own storyline on how they came to be and under certain conditions they actually glow! (very kool for night fighting).
So hello evry1. ;D

Neowolf3 out.

Welcome to TO and have fun

If you don't already have it... fight as a Mech Tau Cadre... it's alot more practical when fighting tuff armies
Here's a link you could use to read up on the Mech Tau:

http://www-personal.engin.umich.edu/%7Eleebj/index.html

what's ur race's storyline??? I would be interested in reading it.

Firstly, welcome to the forums!

Secondly, if you havn't already, check out the forum rules.

Thirdly, (no offence meant PrdiG), ignore the ravings of people who insist that Mech Tau is the only way to play a Tau army. It is an aggressive and potentially deadly force, but it takes time to master and results in a serious model deficit, meaning every casualty means alot of damage. Static Tau is difficult to get away with, as "stand and shoot" is not what the Tau are intended to do, but a hybrid army is very effective.

Lastly, have fun and enjoy your time here!

no offence taken... the whole point of a forum is to share each others ideas and learn new stuff, aswell as compare each others methods... *sigh* I guess I should admit that I started with hybrid army and it worked pretty well for a while... then I converted to Mech

Hey, if I still played Tau I would probably play mechanized, and I would be playing mech - heck, I would play mech Eldar if I could afford the Wave Serpents. It's just the notion that it's the only way to play that bugs me.
