Even if you don't start Tau, TO is a great place to be. I only have Guard and Black Templars, and this is my one and only forum. What other armys do you have? We'd love to hear about you!
(I'm guessing SM)
Happy Posting!

Well thank you all for the wonderful response I can tell good things shall come from this forum and with that I thank you.
So to fill you all in on a little bit about me . First let me start with I will try my best to work on punctuation and such but if i make a few posts with an entire paragraph of run on sentences its because i was excited enough to want to talk about something and not worry about anything but getting the ideas down.

O.k moving on to my gaming experiences I started in 1998 and I have been playing marines since, my original army was Dark Angels I have since left their flock as I have yet to have a fully painted army (that's right a fully collected unfinished army since 1998) because the colors were too drab and I just couldn't get myself to sit and paint. So i worked out a color scheme for a DIY chapter that works well I haven't yet started it but it should turn out well. I also have a sizeable Witch Hunters army in various stages

I have since heard a bunch of great information about the new tau codex coming out in spring and all the cool goodies they will receive. Since i have always liked their models I decided lets give them a shot. However I have also been looking at eldar for similar reasons and am still uncertain, the nice bonus on this is that with the tau I have a lot of time to work on the basics, get my marine army done, etc before their codex comes out and I really have to get to brass tacks and then when that is done I can work on an eldar army or something like that. Your thoughts?

Out of a Xenos army I am mostly wanting to have something non power armoured.

Hmm...

Well, yes, the new Tau are coming out next year, and so will be a great race to start then. The eldar codex will maybe come out the year after? Or perhaps the year after that. But anyway, yeah, Tau would be a cool race to start next year.

yeah like i say i really enjoy all the tau models and now there will just be more of them ;D so yeah I have now picked up my first devil fish with 8 tau fire warriors going to start working on that as soon as i find my clippers

as far as the eldar thing goes i have always liked alaitoc and the article in the recent canadian white dwarf supplement on making alaitoc guardians, rangers , etc was great
